The traffic light is an essential part of our petrol driven world. It is the intention of this campaign to make the traffic light become synonymous with the message:

To STOP WAR and CHANGE TO a GREEN PLANET

So that every time we view a traffic light we are reminded of the need to end war and to care for our planet.
When we walk to the traffic lights on Oct 24th 12 noon we confer a clear message to strive for peace and to look after our environment.

A terrorist's haven has been created, not closed, by action in Iraq.

The world took a step forward recently when Russia signed the Kyoto protocol. It's better late than never, Mr Bush!

The scourge of globalisation has spread like a cancer throughout our everyday lives; driven by the goal of ever greater profit and gain, fulfilling the greed merchants every desire.

We seem powerless to stop it, despite the majority of people being against its objectives in principle.

We are fed fear. Fear that if we arrest its relentless progress we will become impoverished too.
Poverty, war and terrorism are all linked. By striving for fair trade we can start to nibble at the causes of these ills and begin to tackle the problem of globalisation.

We must strive therefore to reinforce the things that unite us.

The traffic light protest is a start, for it begins to give us, the silent majority, a voice.
There comes a point at which we have to make a stand for our survival, not to go down the road of no return, but to change direction for the good of all.

We are at the crossroads, lets make that change.
