About "Sipson Shroud".

When did it start?
The Shroud was initiated at the march and festival in Sipson Village on the 31st May 2008.

What is it?
It is a "living" petition on sheets of cloth, calling for protection of our planet for future generations. Unlike other petitions it will not be handed in and forgotten in a file in some dark corridor of power. The Sipson Shroud will continue to grow! It is there to remind our arrogantly selfish senior politicians that they are here not just to lead, but to serve the people.

If Sipson Village is allowed to die, because of Heathrow Airport expansion, it increases the possibility of death of our planet, of life as we know it to cease to exist.

The shroud is an interactive visual communication to our leaders.

  • Have your say.
  • Find the shroud.
  • Join in the living message
  • See it grow.
