SAVE OUR PLANET

One day – when we put aside our differences.
One day – when we come together, brother and sister.
One day – when revenge, hate and envy are forgotten.

Protest date to be
7th day of the seventh month of the seventh year of the 21st century
i.e. 12 noon on Sat. 7th July 2007 - 'Save our Planet Day'.

A day - for humanity to speak as one. A day for SURVIVAL.

That day: the 7th day of the 7th month of the 7th year of the 21st century.
Easy to remember: 7 + 7 + 7 = 21.
A moment when humanity makes a mark in the sands of time for its survival.
A moment in history when there is no nation vs nation, no religious faith vs religious faith, no political party vs political party and no social class vs social class.
Together as one.
Taking that all important step. That first step towards a future, where co-operation moulds that future.
Once we have taken that first step, our eyes will be opened to the possibilities, hidden so long by conflict.

Our (humanity’s) immediate problem, global warming, is just that, GLOBAL.
It is non-discriminatory. It is global and to correct it requires a GLOBAL response, by all of us collectively. Individually, yes, but with a common purpose.
It is possible.
A day to remember because it is a day to forget!
Forget ethnic origin,
Forget religious differences,
Forget political dogma and
Forget social standing.
Unite for survival,
Unite for a future and Unite for a purpose.

On this day we ask all to halt and look ahead. Take note of the message of the lights at this, humanity’s and the world’s, crossroads. Think, act and change direction.
To continue straight ahead on the same road is to act like lemmings, careering towards the cliff-edge.
Take this moment of reflection and together turn to a brighter future, as one.
JOIN US in promoting this day. A day when differences melt rather than the polar ice.

‘Save Our Planet’ day.
Saturday, 7th July, 2007.

If you want a future. How? Tell 5 friends to tell 5 other friends about ‘Save Our Planet’ day. That’s all it takes. So simple. Keep in touch with this site.
We are non-financial. Free for all. Uncontaminated by money. Here ‘FREE’ and ‘FREEDOM’ are words we practically encompass.

This campaign is a means to show Governments that the overwhelming, vast majority of the inhabitants of this planet of ours, want and need action on climate change and that action has to be legislated for. No well meaning person, unless a principled martyr, will take on board the necessary reduction in comfort factors unless his neighbour does likewise. Why should he, or she? For we all have to act together to be effective and so the only fair and practical way is for Governments worldwide to legislate for the necessary changes.

To give an analogy, climate change is like a massive oil tanker in voyage, which requires 2 miles to stop and reverse. If the look-out on that tanker calls to the captain and says that there is a concrete barrier across the channel ahead, does the captain risk ignoring him? NO!

We are at that stage now. We can’t ignore the warnings we have already had with polar melt and increasingly severe weather events. We need to act NOW to have a chance to avoid catastrophe. To go back to the analogy, the captain has to tell the crew to stop and reverse the engines and ignore his financial bosses drive for profit.

The SAVE OUR PLANET campaign is designed to use a universal symbol of traffic lights to act as a message from all the peoples of the world to their Governments to act NOW. Every person on this planet that seeks a future can use this symbol and the traffic lights, upon which it is based, to provide a message and a universal, easily recognised , protest point to tell our Governments that they must ACT NOW!

Join the SAVE OUR PLANET campaign to have protests on virtually every street corner throughout the globe to tell our Governments to act. It could be that a simple ribbon is all that it takes to save our planet!

This might seem an optimistic hope, but can we afford not to try it? Join the campaign and work towards the production of such a massive demonstration worldwide of a will to survive, by spreading the word. On the Sat. 7th July 2007 we can initiate the worldwide demonstrations, when green and white ribbons will be tied to traffic lights posts and bring millions onto the streets worldwide. We are realists. We know it may not work, but we have to try. It is such a simple, low cost idea, that all can participate in, that we can’t afford not to try.
SPREAD THE WORD and give us all some hope of doing something positive in time!

Working towards a co-ordinated global traffic light protest in 2007 to ensure Governments legislate for a future for us all.
