Welcome
to all those who were at the march and rally in Trafalgar
Square in London on Saturday, to mark the 3rd anniversary
of the unjustified and brutal war on Iraq and its relatively
unprotected and innocent civilian population.
The planet should
give a big ‘Thank-you’ to everyone that attended
similar protest marches and rallies throughout the globe:
some 200 plus cities in all.
The fact that
relatively so few of the populations of these participating
countries attended is a time for those that did attend to
stop and reflect in a serious and searching manner. We are
the conscience of our countries. It is important that we remain
strong and committed for the sake of the future of humanity.
These events bring us together and are a moral-boosting aid,
showing that we are still numerous, that we still have an
important message to deliver and that there is still hope
that the power seeking, warmongering, greedy individuals of
this world can be opposed.
Now here comes ‘the
crunch’. We are deluded if we think that what we are
doing on these marches is helping to rally others to the cause
of peace and harmony with the planet. This is painful, but
true. The marches and rallies got only a few lines mention
in the newspapers and very little air-time on news programmes.
This means that unless you were there or strongly opinioned
towards these matters and sought them out, then therewas little
chance of being noticed and therefore of furthering peace
at all!
If you are visiting this
site because you were handed a ribbon and leaflet or that
you visited our stall in the Square, you have been given the
means to do something unique and ultimately effective. ONLY
by reaching out to the general population of this and other
countries can we peacemakers hope to succeed. The media are
controlled, so that despite a few notable exceptions, the
tendency is to obey their paymasters and promote the warmongering
profiteers such as the Bush and Blair Administrations.
These are evil men who care for no-one but their greedy selves.
‘Traffic lights
for peace’ is a unique concept. We are within the global
network of communication. We are not held hostage to money.
We are totally non-financial. We do not have to dilute our
aims to create an ‘Organisation’. We do not have
to seek finance to buy offices and buildings, nor to run demonstrations
or meetings.
At 'Traffic lights for
peace' you get undiluted cause, striving for a peaceful and
harmonious planet for ALL humanity, not just an elite few.
Join us. You don’t have to pay anything or do anything
except log onto the site regularly. If you want regular updates
on issues of possible interest, then become a ‘member’,
which really means regular email info will be sent to you.
Here is where you can
help. Log on regularly. Tell others of the site. Help spread
informed opinion to the world’s population outside the
control of the media moguls.
Convert traffic lights to ‘Beacons of peace’.
You know how! Tying a ribbon of any colour immediately converts
it to a message board that says
This is simple to perform
and is achievable! As we grow and the population gets more and
more to recognise the symbolism and message of the lights, then
we have an effective means of reaching the general population
and influencing them away from the control of the powerful and
the greedy. If we can convert the universal traffic light to
represent the above message in most peoples eyes, then there
will be a regular, almost subliminal, message we can give universally
to encourage the search for a more peaceful and harmonious world.
This also gives us a universal focus point and highly visible,
evenly distributed rallying point to further the causes of peace,
justice and environmental care.
PLEASE help bring that
about, for the sake of ALL and for a sustainable future.

We encourage discussion and feedback and remember that we
are here to promote the many excellent organisations that
already exist; there is no need for yet another, other than
one like us that has no requirement to alter its principles
or aims because of external pressure.
Keep surfing for peace,
justice and care of our world and return to THIS SITE SOON!

Years on. Iraq is a bloody disaster.
Bush and
Blair promised a fast, ‘clean war’, of ‘shock
and awe’.
They have got what their evil arrogance deserves, but unjustly
it is others, the innocents who suffer. Both men have sought
to be remembered as great warriors by history. It is important
for future humanity that they are remembered as the narcissistic
bloody butchers that they truly are.
To abandon every ounce
of true justice and continue to brag that they have done a
good deed is obscene. All it required was a smidgeon of humility
in admitting they got it wrong and ask forgiveness and help
from others to really help the people of Iraq in the aftermath
of their unjustified war. No, each day that passes condemns
them more in most eyes.
Today’s march is important. Joined by many hundreds
of thousand around the world in approximately 200 cities,
we will not forget. Humanity will not forget these two international
criminals.
In 1912, man in his arrogance
claimed a new dawn on the seas with the ‘unsinkable’
Titanic. Again it was the weak and innocent who paid for that
arrogance, but history has revealed such arrogant men’s
folly.
The polar ice sheets melt, petrol greed runs unabated, and
the world heats up beneath the cover of the CO2 greenhouse.
Man’s arrogance is paving the way for another disaster.
Isn’t it time we learnt.
We need to work together, for the benefit of all, not just
an elite few.
This is our world, not that of corporate directors.
War is waste. It is the product of selfishly seeking Earthly
power and all consuming greed. Don’t be fooled by claims
that war is for defence or protection; it is about money and
power.
The greatest fear of those who weald power, is that we peacemakers
unite to become effective and share the wonders of this world
amongst us all.
Marches and demos are an important bonding mechanism and means
of expressing mutual support and encouragement in our fight
to bring about a just and fair world for all.
These marches and demos serve many good functions in that
cause, but do not unite sufficient numbers of humanity to
truly make the powerful take note. Many groups come together
for these events, but then return to being unheard again.
We need to think laterally. We need to make a virtue of our
human individuality in our battle to free the world from the
greed merchants.
A continuous protest and uniting under a simple ‘banner’
can bring the power seekers’ greatest fear closer to
reality. Finding a simple mechanism that unites the vast majority,
who seek peace and harmony with the planet, is possible and
now exists!
‘Traffic lights
for peace’. This movement is unique. It is ethereal
in nature. It has no physical structure, no organisational
hierarchy. It is totally non-financial to avoid the pitfalls
of greed and pride. Our focus is on the cause not in making
this group larger or more influential than another, nor do
we claim to have all the answers.
All uniting movements so far have failed to truly deliver
because they have sought to be ‘the one’, to be
the super-group that makes the breakthrough. Pride rather
than cause becomes the focus. ‘Traffic lights for peace’
is different, we don’t exist structurally, yet potentially
with focused aims we have the possibility of activating the
silent majority, even the apathetic! Participation is not
a problem with the traffic light concept because nearly everybody
can do it with little effort due to its simplicity in being
local and global at the same instant!
The war on Iraq is more unpopular now than it was before its
commencement when nearly 2 million marched in central London.
Today our numbers have dwindled to tens of thousands. We represent
the conscience of the nation. So much effort, organisation,
finance and resources are tied up providing a few hours protest.
Mr. Blair will probably
go to Checkers to relax and get away from the noise and the
disruption. His only contact is likely to be a glanced look
at the television News in its one minute slot. This is hardly
a devastating repost to an individual responsible for so many
deaths.
However, if we convert a widespread, highly visible, essential
object in our petrol driven world, into a banner or poster
for peace and dissent against our loss of rights, on virtually
every street corner, then Blair will have a constant reminder
wherever he goes! We will also then possess the means to get
even more people on the streets, should he ever try anything
like Iraq again.
Simply by tying a ribbon to a traffic light post instantly
converts it to a ‘Beacon of peace’ saying: STOP
WAR, CHANGE TO, a GREEN PLANET.
This concept also enables the opportunity of inspiring greater
awareness and possible action over global warming, where humanity
must co-ordinate its response in order to achieve an effective
solution.

UK Prime Minister Blair has recently
claimed no mortal is fit to judge him, only God.
If he and Bush were true Christians they would have sought
every avenue available to avoid war. To kill as these two
have, with such impunity and vivacity, is not Christian.
It is not sufficient
or acceptable to say let’s move on, it happened. No,
the situation in Iraq is so much worse now than when a butcherous
dictator was in charge. Ask ‘liberated’ Iraqis
now and they will tell of their fear and despair as indiscriminate
killing continues unabated and infrastructure we take for
granted in the West is denied to these beleaguered victims
of two men’s arrogance and folly.
True Christians in positions
of such power would not say let’s move on, true Christians
would make every effort to gain help from around the world
by admitting the error of their ways and moving forward with
true caring spirit to help the people of Iraq. The political
posturing of Bush and Blair in these circumstances is obscene
and abhorrent to any truly Christian soul.
The people of Iraq wait
for justice. Bush and Blair with their unrelenting intransigence
are the cause, not the cure, of the evil that stalks Iraq.
One day in their lifetime, perhaps, Bush and Blair will face
justice for their continuing crime against humanity and what
Christ really stands for.
Their continuing denial
and arrogance condemns them more each day. If we do not learn
by our errors then what hope do we deserve?
